We don't usually ask our friends to wash dishes, but when somebody offers.... One our very best, most efficient employees here at Arrowhead is someone that the guests don't see much. His name is Donald and he washes the dishes here on Friday and Saturday nights. And when you consider the fact that we serve an average of over 200 hungry people per weekend, it's a BIG job. Other than when he broke his leg a few years back, he has never called in sick... until this weekend. Strep throat and pink eye. Of course the five of us women who work in the kitchen, often taking Donald for granted, agreed that doing our jobs and washing the dishes wouldn't be that hard. WRONG. It was a good thing that our friend Keith pitched in and got us off to a good start during the first hour so that we could concentrate on feeding the masses that came pouring through the door. Thank you, thank you, thank you! And hurry back Donald, we miss you.
