It's been a long winter for everyone I know, but Spring is really here. In case you aren't feeling it where you live yet, I thought I'd share a few Lake Whitney Springy things.
10. The wind is blowing, but there's not a "wind chill" listed on the weather forecast.
9. Crystal & Dixie have enough green grass to eat that they nap every morning and every afternoon..
8. Gary is mowing again on Thursdays.
7. Ladybugs are EVERYWHERE!
6. The deer are getting fatter.
5. Miss Kitty is complaining less and napping in the sun more.
4. Cabins are starting to book up for the summer.
3. The peacocks are spending more time struttin' their stuff than begging for food.
2. We have more cabin guests and they are buying ice cream.
1. Sunset is late enough for you to enjoy it from Mel's Steakhouse on Friday and Saturday nights.
